If you’re looking for a highly portable netbook to offer you online freedom wherever you go, then look no further than the Acer Aspire One AOA110-AB 8.9” Blue Netbook.

The featherweight design (1.1kg) still packs a ton of hardware, such as the Intel Atom Processor N270 with the amazingly efficient Linux Lite OS, giving this netbook a startup time of only 15 seconds! The batteries last for 2.8 hours, powering an 8.9” CrystalBrite LED backlit LCD featuring 1024x600 resolution. With 1GB of memory and a 16GB SSD, as well as the 5-in-1 card reader, you can store and read huge amounts of data, as well as run all of your favourite useful programs. Of course, this netbook comes fully equipped to access both Ethernet and WiFi networks, allowing you to stay in touch with family and friends wherever you go, and even chat face-to-face with the built-in webcam. Three USB ports will also allow you to connect a wide array of compatible devices, such as your camera or MP3 player.

seems the hard drive of this model is a mistake i hope. 16GB of HDD is too damn small.

Think you’ll find that it isn’t a hard drive Mr Anonymous.

16GB refers to a Solid State Disk drive. Yes they are smaller then you HDD, but they don’t have any moving parts. So, there is no noise and they will happily work while you shake your netbook about. Much more useful than a HDD seeing as your netbook should be subject to a lot of travel.

16GB is more than enough to fit your 4GB of Windows install and software. You won’t be playing any space hungry games on it. If you’ve got a big music/movie collection then put it on an SD card.

If 16GB isn’t enough for your netbook, then stay at home with you your PC.
