Measuring just half the size of a regular notebook, the Eee PC 901 weighs only 2.5 pounds, making it perfect for the student or business professional on the go. The flash memory hard drive (with 12GB of memory) consumes less power than the traditional hard drive, and allows your system to boot up quickly, lowers heat emissions and provides additional shock protection. The incredibly efficient Super Hyper Engine, which can only be found in the eee PC, works to conserve energy, with savings of up to 15% of the available power. Throw in the SSD, which also consumes less power, and you’ve got a unit that is capable of anywhere between 4 to 8 hours of working battery life.
