Epson Na01 Mini netbook: Deceptively simple exterior, with a lot to offer beneath the surface
Do not let the relatively drab casing fool you, the Epson Na01 Mini Netbook has a lot to offer! Inside, you’ll find the Intel Aton N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB of hard-drive storage space and, of course, WiFi b/g capability. The 10.2-inch WSVGA display will also give you plenty to look at.
The Three USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, memory card slot, audio in/out and Ethernet help to increase the capabilities of this Netbook, and all of this only measures 266x184.7x39mm, and is a featherweight at 1.28kg. Additional options include Bluetooth capability and a USB 1-SEG digital TV tuner.
Available in Japan, the Epson Endeavour Na01 Mini runs for the equivalent of $479, and while the external design isn’t as fancy or as slick as some of the other netbooks on the market, it is actually an extremely capable netbook, and the silver angular end-caps on the hinges give it a style all its own.
