Setting the Bar: Gigabyte M912 Netbook
December 28, 2008 · Filed Under Gigabyte

The M912V is setting a new standard in netbooks, bringing users a new form factor and impressive touch screen capabilities which as sure to impress. The price tag will also impress, as it is much closer to the US$500 that was the original target price for UMCs.
You’ll find many features beyond the touch screen packed into this netbook, such as the Intel Atom processor, capable of running Vista, making it the first netbook we’ve seen capable of doing so. It also doesn’t use a 1024x600 resolution which we’ve seen with all other Atom-based netbooks we’ve seen thus far.
