The New G1000 Netbook from Mouse Computer
The people at Mouse Computer have just announced the release of their new Netbook, the G1000. Featuring a 10.2-inch LCD screen, sporting WSVGA resolution at 1024×600p, and an Intel Atom N270 with 1.6GHz processing speed, you can expect quite a bit from this netbook.
The 1GB of RAM will allow you to run many of your useful programs and surf the web, and the 160GB of SATA HDD will give you plenty of storage space. The useful multi-card reader (SD/Memorystick/Memorystick Pro/Multimedia Card), Wifi b/g, three USB ports and a 1.3Mpix built-in webcam are all just icing on the cake.
The 6-cell battery is included with the unit, measuring 259×180x35mm and weighs only 1.4 kg. The G1000 runs Windows XP Home Edition SP3.
